A dedicated space to support recovery, movement and wellbeing
Red Centre Health Focus is proud to be home to Alice Springs' first purpose-built Recovery Centre, providing a dedicated space where individuals can incorporate recovery into their overall health, fitness and wellbeing routine.
Whether you're recovering after exercise, balancing a busy lifestyle, participating in regular sport, or simply looking to prioritise time for yourself, our Recovery Centre offers a range of recovery modalities in a calm and welcoming environment.
Recovery is an important component of an active lifestyle. While recovery looks different for everyone, strategies such as adequate sleep, nutrition, hydration, exercise and planned recovery all play an important role in supporting overall health and physical performance.
Our Recovery Centre provides access to a range of recovery modalities that may complement your existing exercise routine, rehabilitation program or wellness practices.
Our purpose-built Recovery Centre includes:
Services are available for casual visits and group bookings.
Compression therapy uses inflatable garments that apply intermittent pressure to the limbs.
This technology is commonly used by active individuals as part of their recovery routine following exercise or prolonged periods of activity.
Compression sessions may be incorporated into your recovery routine alongside other healthy recovery practices.
Compression garments are available for both the upper and lower limbs.
Cold water immersion involves spending a short period of time in chilled water under controlled conditions.
Many athletes and physically active individuals choose to incorporate cold water immersion into their post-exercise recovery routine following high-intensity training or competition.
Our dedicated recovery space provides a comfortable and controlled environment for cold water immersion.
Our team can provide guidance regarding session duration and safe use.
Infrared saunas use infrared light to gently warm the body rather than heating the surrounding air.
Many people choose to include infrared sauna sessions as part of their regular wellness and recovery routine.
Sessions provide an opportunity to relax, unwind and prioritise time for recovery within a comfortable environment.
Red light therapy uses specific wavelengths of light applied externally to the body.
It is commonly incorporated into wellness and recovery routines by individuals participating in regular exercise and physical activity.
Red light therapy is offered as one of several recovery options available within our Recovery Centre.
Recovery is an important consideration for anyone who exercises regularly, whether you're training for competition, participating in social sport, working in a physically demanding occupation or simply enjoying an active lifestyle.
Many people choose to incorporate scheduled recovery sessions alongside their exercise program to support consistency in training and overall wellbeing.
